They include files on labor disputes, wartime and other federal agencies and regulations, relief and philanthropic groups, civic and commercial organizations, city of Minneapolis celebrations and community activities, and world government. The files are arranged alphabetically. Some are related to files in the Minneapolis Commissions, Committees, and Departments files (see below). Although the majority of the files cover the period 1946-1948, some contain materials from earlier years.
