Expand/CollapseSCOPE AND CONTENTS

Files on issues of general public concern and/or matters that came before Congress. Their nature has not been thoroughly investigated. They cover the years 1950-1957 and 1963-1964; no files for the years 1949 and 1958-1962 were received from the Humphrey office. Files for 1950- 1952 are very sparse, and were interfiled into a single sequence during initial (1971) processing of the files. Two partial boxes of 1951-1954 materials were received after the main body of files was processed, and remain un-integrated.
