Files on the operation and administration of vice presidential offices in the Executive Office Building, the Capitol, and the New Senate Office Building, and other temporary offices of the Vice President.

They pertain to such matters as building assignment, maintenance, operation, and space management; accounting, office budget, and procurement contracts; office and personnel management; printing and reproduction; physical protection of the Vice President and offices; office supplies and equipment; and transportation and travel. They also include staff correspondence and memoranda; the Vice President's reading copies; and separate files of aides Norman Sherman and Eiler and Edna Ravnholt.

Various portions of these files were kept by, or relate to work conducted or supervised by, individual staff members. Their names are included in the file list wherever known.

The files include some guest registers and miscellany from Humphrey's second senatorial term. Files for many years, especially 1968, contain materials from previous years.
