Files relating to health, physical fitness, and sports, particularly drugs, health facilities, the medical profession, mental retardation, physical fitness, sports disputes, and the United States Olympic Committee. There are a few files on pollution, and a set of transcripts of hearings before the Sports Arbitration Board in National Collegiate Athletic Association vs. Amateur Athletic Union (1966). The files were kept by several staff members, particularly John G. Stewart, William Welsh, and Julius Cahn.
