SCOPE AND CONTENTS
Correspondence, newspaper clippings, printed materials, and other papers relating to invitations sent to the Vice President by individuals and organizations, asking him to speak, to visit, or to attend dinners or banquets, and for trips to specific states, cities, and countries. They appear to be largely invitations declined; accepted invitations became Speech Acceptance Files or Trip Files (cataloged separately in same repository).
ARRANGEMENT
Arranged primarily by state and by year and month thereunder; there are also separate sections for colleges, Canada, other countries, and general correspondence.
