Correspondence pertaining to all aspects of the Humphrey office's general public relations, including responses to requests of various kinds, reflecting the office’s general public contacts and services. Much was handled via routine Robotype response.

They consist primarily of expressions of support or appreciation for services; and requests for information, autographs, pictures, flags, reprints, and the like. There are some letters of complaint; crank mail; requests for favors, such as dedications, forewords, and statements; requests for appointments or interviews; general acknowledgments; and general publicity and media files, including magazine articles.
