Availability:

The collection is open for research use.

Preferred Citation:

[Indicate the cited item and/or series here]. Hubert H. Humphrey Papers. 1970 Senate Campaign Files. Minnesota Historical Society.

See the Chicago Manual of Style for additional examples.

Accession Information:

Accession number: Many, see separate Humphrey, Hubert H. accession file.

Processing Information:

Note to Researchers: The 1970 campaign files were originally in considerable disarray, and there was much duplication of file series as well as of individual items. An overall organization was imposed upon the files during preliminary processing, in which an attempt was made to correlate related files and eliminate duplication while retaining those elements of file structure that had originally been established by the campaign staff. Nevertheless, materials within the various file series remain somewhat duplicative, and some segments of materials are apparently incomplete. Most of these materials have not been examined or assessed in detail.
