Consists largely of correspondence relating to invitations and requests for invitations to the inauguration of Lyndon B. Johnson and Hubert H. Humphrey as President and Vice President of the United States (January 20, 1965), as well as to various other inaugural celebrations and campaign worker recognition events.

Also included are guest lists; staff memoranda on inauguration activities and logistics; Humphrey's inaugural schedules; an assortment of printed and mimeographed inaugural materials and issuances; and a compilation of invitations, news releases, memoranda, and assorted inaugural memorabilia gathered by an inaugural committee worker.
