SCOPE AND CONTENTS
An individual article file may include drafts of the article, text as submitted for publication, a printed copy of the article, staff memoranda and suggestions, letters regarding articles or statements, and subsequent correspondence. Most of the texts appear to have been drafted by staff members and then approved or revised by Humphrey.
The files also include correspondence regarding proposed articles and publications; correspondence regarding photographs, biographical information, and/or statements supplied by Humphrey for various compilations of opinions or information; and transcripts of interviews, answers to sets of questions, or articles based on them. Some of the latter may also be found in Articles About Humphrey (separate series).
This series was compiled from various incomplete article, book, special press, and miscellaneous files. Arrangement is chronological within each subseries.
