Ron KroeseRon Kroese was the first executive director of the Land Stewardship Project, serving from 1982 to 1993. His duties included directing the policy development activities and carrying out the Project's state and federal policy initiatives. Before coming to the organization Kroese directed the American Farm Project, a national humanities program sponsored by the National Farmers Union, and served as press secretary to United States Senator James Abourezk of South Dakota. He was succeeded by George Boody in 1993.

Expand/CollapseSECOND EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR GEORGE BOODY

George Boody served as executive director of the Land Stewardship Project from 1993 until 2016. Prior to coming to the Project he worked for the Minnesota Project. He held a master's degree in agriculture and nutrition from the University of Minnesota. Boody was succeeded as executive director by Mark Schultz in 2017, and transitioned to part-time science and special projects lead. Jess Anna Glover succeeded Schultz as executive director in 2020.
