Expand/CollapseHISTORICAL NOTE

The Multiple Property Documentation Form (MPDF) is a cover document, but is not a National Register of Historic Places nomination. In the MPDF, the themes, trends, and patterns of history that are shared by historic properties are discussed. The cover document also serves as an evaluation tool for determining the significance of thematically related properties by establishing registration requirements. These requirements provide specific guidelines that apply important historical associations and historic physical integrity and are used to compare historic properties and judge their relative significance.
