BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE

Paul Anders Ogren was born on May 9, 1951. He attended Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, where he studied political science, and later attended the University of Minnesota.

Ogren served as Democrat in the Minnesota House of Representatives for District 13B in the 72nd Legislative Session (1981-1982) and for District 14A for the 73rd-77th Legislative Sessions. His region typically covered Aitkin, Carlton, Crow Wing, and Kanabec counties.

Outside of his political career, Ogren worked as a farmer and carpenter. Ogren married Sandra Gardebring in 1991, who served as a judge on the Minnesota Supreme Court.
