Provenance:
In 1970, when the broadside ("G") classification was reorganized and recataloged, a large number of items were discovered which had originally been a part of the various collections in the manuscripts department, but which had been removed from those collections and cataloged separately as broadsides. Also found were a number of printed items which were uncataloged. There were no shelflist or catalog cards for these items. However, most of them had accession numbers or notations written on them to indicate the original source. All of these broadsides were filed back into their appropriate collection. Most notably, broadsides were added to the following collections: Hascal R. Brill, Thomas J. Meighen, and James Gray, Sr., papers.
