Plat maps prepared to accompany the records of the 1852 survey expedition that established the legal boundary between Iowa and Minnesota.

The plats were prepared by deputy surveyor general Andrew Talcott and drawn by Harry Taylor, under the direction of George B. Sargent, surveyor general of Iowa, and approved by Warner Lewis, U.S. surveyor general for Wisconsin and Iowa.
