SCOPE AND CONTENTS
The journal and maps (2) record an automobile trip (1933) in northern Minnesota with other Camp Fire girls. A folder of scripts for a series of radio programs (1933) produced by KSTP radio celebrate the 22nd anniversary of the founding of the Camp Fire Girls. A few miscellaneous items document her progress in attaining the highest rank of Torch Bearer.
A folder of materials (1942-1953) document activities of her daughter, Sarah Lynn Johnson, in Camp Fire Girls.

The dated material includes a "health chart" (December 1928); requirements for Fire Maker and Woodgatherer rank (approximately 1929); Woodgatherer's requirements (February 27, 1929); letters to her father from camp describing the Fourth of July spent at the Powers house (approximately July 7, 1929) and describing the "up side down" day at camp (July 24, 1929); monthly thrift charts (February 5, 1930, December 1931, the latter including a photograph of Alice holding her award); a program given at St. Anthony Park Congregational Church by her camp fire; a letter from local headquarters and a postcard addressed to Alice (1935); and a letter (May 17, 1938) inquiring if Alice would return as a counselor that summer. | |||||||||||
