| The cards are arranged in a single alphabetical sequence by surname and given name. The Final Papers and volumes 1-7, 1906-1929, of the Petition and Record are indexed by volume and page number. The Petition and Record, volumes [8]-13 [1929]-1955 are indexed by petition number. The cards also include the date of naturalization or the number and date of the certificate of naturalization, which serve as supplemental indexing aids. | |||||||||||||
| The cards were not checked for completeness or correct alphabetical order prior to microfilming.
