SCOPE AND CONTENTS
Subject files consisting of correspondence, memos, reports, circulars, brochures, and other miscellaneous materials relating to windbreaks and shelterbelts, planting methods and programs, tree plantations, highway improvements, farm forestry, agricultural conservation programs, statistics, cooperation with state entomologists and the United States Forest Service, seeds and cones, and nursery stock and price lists, originating from or received by the state forester, commissioner, or director of forestry (title change) or other members of the forestry division office.
ARRANGEMENT
The files are divided into four subseries: general alpha files, 1924-1952; seed, 1935-1953; planting, 1914-1961; and nurseries, 1914-1952.
