Expand/CollapseSCOPE AND CONTENTS

The movement of population records are divided into several daily, weekly, and monthly subsections and contain data on admission, discharge, and population statistics--female, male, resident, non-resident, and Indian. The monthly reports include details on patients diagnosed in or admitted to the sanatorium.

The patient admission/application files include patient application forms, correspondence, and discharge data, while the examination/X-ray records mainly concern non-patients served at the sanatorium or off-site by sanatorium staff, particularly among the Indian population and at schools and public screenings, often under the auspices of the Christmas Seal program. The social histories detail individual patient's family and background.

The post-mortem reports, death records, and cemetery record document patient deaths and burials. The patient follow-up letters are questionnaires submitted to former patients seeking data on their health and treatment since discharge.
