Cone, Second Vice President; Kay Todd, Secretary; L. Lewis, Counsel); general agency contracts and agreements; list of original or charter applications for insurance (1921); correspondence, (1921-1931), largely regarding reinsurance requests and other contractual matters; and miscellaneous financial data.
Charter Membership Accounting, 1941-1949. 2 folders.
Detailed annual reports from Haight, Davis and Haight, consulting actuaries, on the status of the company's charter membership policies and of its impounded dividend account, made in accordance with a Ramsey County District Court decree of February 15, 1941. Submitted to the Commissioner of Insurance.
Charter Membership Accounting, 1953-1967.
Missing 1954, 1956-1957, 1960-1961.
Similar to Charter Membership Accounting, 1941-1949, but increasingly brief, as charter memberships were terminated. Made by officials of the Bankers Life and Casualty Company per a [Ramsey Count?] court decision of December 31, 1950.
As of December 30, 1950, all policies written by the Modern Life Insurance Company on the Charter Membership basis were assumed by the Bankers Life and Casualty Company.
