Files on a grant program for local parks funded through the federal Land and Water Conservation Fund (LAWCON) and the state Legislative Commission on Minnesota Resources (LCMR) include correspondence with applicants and with government agencies, application reviews and recommendations, and grant summaries and award rankings (1975-1983).

The Minneapolis-St. Paul Level B Study, funded by the United States Water Resources Council and conducted by the Upper Mississippi River Basin Commission, surveyed water and related land resources in order to plan strategies for ecologically sound economic growth and recreational development in the metropolitan area. Its files consist of correspondence, studies and reports, background data, plans, and workshop proceedings.
