The Mounds-Midway School of Nursing was formed in 1926 by a merger of the Mound School of Nursing, 1922-1926, and the Midway General Hospital School of Nursing, 1912-1926. The Mound School of Nursing was preceded by the Mounds Park School of Nursing, 1906-1922; the Midway General Hospital School of Nursing was preceded by the Cobb Hospital School of Nursing, 1909-1921. The Mounds-Midway School of Nursing closed in 1952 and became the Mounds-Midway Division of the Hamline University School of Nursing. It remained a part of that school until 1957, when it again received independent status. The Mounds-Midway School of Nursing closed in 1983. The records listed relate, in part, to all of these schools.
