SCOPE AND CONTENTS
The files deal with all aspects of the department's duties and activities, including its relationship with members of the state legislature and responses supplied by the office to agricultural questions initially received by the governor's office. The latter particularly deal with the farm crisis, commodity prices, taxes, government assistance, and farm size and expansion.
