Provenance:

Minutes (1966-1976) and assorted published histories of the arts council/board were accidentally destroyed at the State Records Center in January 1984. The 1967-1976 minutes included in these records represent a set pieced together from various sources. Their completeness is questionable and they do not include the records of the initial meetings of 1966.
