HISTORICAL NOTE
Established September 20, 1878 as Swift County School District No. 31; later became Swift County Independent School District No. 4. In January 1956, became Joint Independent Consolidated School District No. 102 of Swift and Chippewa counties, and on September 6, 1957, was renamed Independent School District No. 782. In 1978, merged with Independent School District No. 783, Kerkhoven, to become Independent School District No. 775, Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg.
SCOPE AND CONTENTS
Included are treasurer's book (1930-1936), ledgers for student activities (1951-1954) and veterans agricultural training program (1947-1952), class minutes (1954-1958), school census (1938-1965), and election records (circa 1950-1971).
