	Quantity:	37 oversize folders in 5 map case drawers.
	Location:	See Detailed Description for shelf locations.

Included are base and ownership maps, site plans, and development studies. A number were created by the National Park Service, often in conjunction with the ECW [Emergency Conservation Work] or the Minnesota Conservation Commission. A small amount of manuscript material relating to some of the maps and plans has been retained and is filed with them.

Parks with larger amounts of material include Birch Coulee, Flandreau, Fort Ridgely, Fort Snelling, Gooseberry Falls, Jay Cooke, Lac Qui Parle, Lake Shetek, Charles A. Lindbergh, St. Croix Recreational Demonstration Area (1935-1943) and St. Croix (1943-), Savanna Portage, Scenic, and Sibley.

The early beginning date of these records results from photocopies of originals drawn during early explorations.

Some of these items were created under the Department of Natural Resources' predecessor, the Department of Conservation (1931-1971).
