SCOPE AND CONTENTS
Deeds for conservation area lands are for lands sold under Laws 1939 Chapter 320 Section 9, which provided that lands classified as non-agricultural (and, by implication, proceeds from their sale) be dedicated to conservation purposes.
Deeds for Red Lake game preserve lands are for lands sold under Laws 1935 Chapter 210 Section 10, which provided that net proceeds from sales of land classified as agricultural be credited to the Red Lake game preserve fund, previously created by Laws 1929 Chapter 258 Section 3.
Some deed numbers are prefixed with the letter V, which may refer to Volstead lands.
