The board/commission worked closely with the city's various planning and development departments over the years, often sharing staff and office space. The files include minutes and agendas for all monthly meetings, special meetings, and public hearings. They may also include district and zoning maps, vote results, budgets, progress reports, letters and information relating to land use, housing, zoning and development projects in the city. The files for 1962 through 1970 are indexed.
