103.H.10.4F	Contracts for fishing, 1918-1919.
		Contracts with individuals employed to catch fish for the Minnesota Public Safety Commission and deliver them to Carlos Avery (fish and game commissioner) as its agent. The contracts specify the waters to be fished, fishing methods to be used, and fish species that the Commission would buy. The state fisheries were operated during 1918 under the authority of the Public Safety Commission.


		Lists of customers of state fisheries, 1918.
			Weekly lists of fish shipped from the various state fish hatcheries. Each list is organized by town name and notes name of consignee and pounds and species to be delivered. Most of the consignees appear to be fish or meat retailers or brokers.


		Minnesota State Fisheries: Invoices of property, 1918.
			Includes detailed lists of buildings, furniture, equipment, and supplies at the Redby fishery.


		Minnesota State Fisheries: Financial statements, 1917-1921.
			Monthly; incomplete.


		Minnesota State Fisheries: Production and distribution information, 1917-1921.
			Includes monthly figures for 1918 and part of 1919, more scattered data for other years, and brief historical data on the state fisheries.


		Petitions regarding game refuges, 1915-1916.
			Petitions, with related correspondence, supporting the establishment of game refuges in various parts of the state. About half of the documents relate to proposed refuges in Ramsey County; these include an opposing petition and a transcript of a public hearing.

			Issued to A. N. Wilcox, Minneapolis; annotated with a note written by Mr. Wilcox stating it was the first fishing license issued in Minnesota.

		[Hatchery log book], 1919-1931. 1 volume.
			Notebook kept by a succession of employees, apparently at the Dead River and Otter Tail (1919-1925) and Cut Foot Sioux (1926-1931) fish hatcheries. It includes lists of equipment, notes on water temperatures and eggs obtained, and a journal of hatchery maintenance work and daily activities (1926-1931).
