There are minutes, memos, reports, and background files from the various committees and boards active at the institution, including the advisory, governing, and review boards; affirmative action, executive, humane practices, inspections and environmental sanitation control, medical records and utilization review, pharmacy and therapeutics, reorganization, research, and safety committees; and meetings of the medical-dental and secretarial staff. There are also materials documenting the institution's departments, particularly comptroller, dietary, health services, hospital-wide support services, social services, and volunteer services and community relations. The latter files include a series of memos from the chief executive officer.

The general subject files contain correspondence, memos, reports, planning documents, financial documents, and related papers.
