They cover reimbursements for district court expenses, salaries, and related expenses.
Miscellaneous accounting records, 1850-1858.
Subjects include official printing, surveying and locating of territorial roads, delivery of prisoners, territorial employees’ salaries, insurance on territorial agencies, and supplies for agencies and officers. Also contains a list of all territorial warrants issued between January 13 and December 30, 1853.
Legislative accounts, 1856-1858.
A record of legislative assembly expenses, including printing and engraving, stationery, newspaper subscriptions and mileage reimbursement for the legislators, and postage. Also a copy of Council File No. 19, authorizing additional assistance for the assembly’s clerks (February 1856), and an abstract (August 1857) and statement (February 1858) of constitutional convention expenses.
Warrants, 1850-1858. 6 folders.
Warrants issued by the auditor, authorizing payment for approved expenses. Expenses covered include: surveys, salaries, locating of roads, plats, account books and supplies, and newspaper subscriptions.
Journal, 1850-1864. 1 volume.
Includes lists of territorial tax and individual warrants issued, and accounts of the state auditor (post-1857).
