Also included are operation reports (brief summaries of procedures performed by various physicians, 1925-1926), letters relating to McGregor's professional activities and personal contacts, and some correspondence of or relating to Drs. Arthur J. Gillette, C. C. Chatterton, and Wallace Cole. There is little material on individual patients or treatment except in the correspondence about admission, the operation reports, and the State Board of Health testing reports.

Correspondents include members and staff of the State Board of Control, including the purchasing agent and chief accountant; the state architect, Clarence H. Johnston, and consulting engineer, Charles L. Pillsbury; job applicants and former employees; the State Board of Health; McGregor's professional associates in the fields of hospital administration, social service, and public health nursing; parents and other persons interested in the admission of children to the hospital; and suppliers.
