Expand/CollapseINSPECTION REPORTS, 1980, 1985

The 1980 and 1985 inspection reports were selected from inspection and enforcement files that dated ca. 1976-1989. The 1980 and 1985 reports were retained as a means to document the condition of jail facilities (state, regional, county, municipal) and juvenile group foster homes, juvenile detention centers and adult halfway houses (public and private). The jail facilities inspection reports are arranged in alphabetical order by county name. Inspection reports for state, regional, county and municipal jail facilities are filed under the county they are located in. The juvenile group foster homes, juvenile detention centers and adult halfway houses inspection reports are arranged in alphabetical order by facility name. Inspections are conducted annually and concern policies and procedures of each facility and an inspection of the physical plant of each facility.
