Mainly items retained after the State Fair scrapbooks were microfilmed, kept in the original because of their displayable value, or loss of interpretation on microfilm. In addition to the scrapbook materials, the records contain handbills, posters, postcards, publications, building specifications, and a map, all pertaining to the Minnesota State Fair and the fairgrounds, located in St. Paul, Minnesota. They are added to from time to time with miscellaneous printed items received from other sources.
