Expand/CollapseSCOPE AND CONTENTS

Many are ribbon copies. Where duplicates (one for each board member) were present, the best-condition or most complete copy was retained.

Also included in the series are a set of confidential data files (1978-1987) that include personal histories, prior arrests and convictions information, offense descriptions, case recommendations of trial judges and lawyers and other information pertinent to individual petitions. They are arranged first in chronological order by date of Pardon Board hearing; thereunder, by applicant's name. They relate to both the pardon calendars and pardon applications (the latter cataloged separately).
