| This volume indexes inmate case files, numbers 1-2614. The inclusive span dates represent the years the inmates listed in the volume entered the reformatory. Entries are grouped alphabetically by the first letter of the inmate's surname; entries for each alphabetical grouping are generally listed chronologically, in the order in which the inmates entered the reformatory. Each entry gives the inmate's surname and given name; register (case file) number; reception (entry), parole, and discharge dates, with a file number[?] citation for each transaction; and a cursory notation regarding misconduct, labor, hospitalization, and education, and/or what appear to be references to volumes or files recording the misconduct, labor, and hospitalization, and the dates of educational activity. | |||||||||||
