Cass and Todd Counties to create Elliott County, 1912.
Cass County to create Clover County, 1913.

More than elementary/secondary public school teachers signed the petitions. There are petitions from librarians as well as teacher preparation programs, the Faribault Schools for the Deaf and Feeble-Minded, and other state-operated schools. The petition from District 8, Mankato State Teachers College includes a statement by the President, C.H. Cooper, that signatures include the "entire faculty of the Mankato State Teachers College with three exceptions." From Bemidji State Teachers College, "none opposed" is noted. The Lac qui Parle County Superintendent of Schools reported: "The teachers in this county do not seem to favor paying $65.00 per year towards the fund. The new plan was presented at the Teachers' Institute last fall and they were not interested."

112.A.16.8FNominating Petitions for H.B. Hassenger for Delegate to the Minnesota Convention for the ratification of the 21st Amendment to the Constitution of the United States, 1933.
The 21st Amendment repealed the Eighteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution, which had mandated nationwide Prohibition on alcohol on January 16, 1919. The 21st Amendment was ratified on December 5, 1933. Henry B. Hassenger (1892-1975), Duluth, was listed as paymaster for a railroad on the 1930 census. His WW I draft registration card shows him as a clerk for the Northern Pacific Railway.
