SCOPE AND CONTENTS
Volumes 1-3 contain one full-page form for each application; the page number correlates to the application number. Each form gives nature of application (pardon or commutation), inmate's name, date the application was filed, where (court) and when convicted, nature of the crime, where imprisoned, length of sentence, when the application was considered by the Pardon Board, and the result (pardon or commutation granted or denied, with date and sometimes an explanation). Subsequent volumes contain two or three numbered entries per page, with progressively less explanatory information. Each volume is indexed.
