The records include letters of Superintendent James J. Dow (1885-1891, 1902-1914), State Board of Control letters to Dow (1906-1908, 1913-1915), and superintendent's reports (1882-1910). The latter were periodic reports of the superintendent to the State Board of Control or the school's board of commissioners.
