SCOPE AND CONTENTS

Included are photographs of Charles "Speed" Holman, Governor Thye signing the 1945 State Aviation Bill, and Wold-Chamberlain and Holman fields, particularly the 1952 flood at Holman.

Most items are aerial photographs of municipal airports around Minnesota. There are also numerous images of construction at the sites.

There is one scrapbook which records selected sites with photographs and size, cost, and construction notes (approximately 1949).

Other persons identified in the photographs include: George Holey, Laurence McCabe, Frank L. Geng, and Larry E. Hammond.

			The scrapbook contains aerial views of municipal airports with size, construction, and funding notes. There are also a few photographs of site and building construction. Since the adhesive has disintegrated, this item has been dismantled and pages placed in mylar sleeves to keep captions and photographs together.
