croplands, that affected wildlife (especially waterfowl) habitat and lake levels. They include correspondence with farmers and
others, maps of drainage areas, and field reports on wetland conditions, the nature of proposed drainage projects, anticipated
effects on wildlife, and recommendations. A number of the files also reflect the Bureau's coordination with the U.S. Soil
Conservation Service. |
