SCOPE AND CONTENTS
Some of the early records (births, 1890-1900, and deaths, 1891-1900) include records that appear to be for the village of Bird Island. The first volume also contains an 1887 Bird Island Board of Health minute record detailing a village ordinance regulating animal slaughter within the village limits.
