SCOPE AND CONTENTS
The records contain charts of total numbers of cases, both confirmed and suspect, and patients treated for contagious diseases, including diphtheria, pertussis (whooping cough), scarlatina (scarlet fever), measles, parotitis (mumps), varicella (chicken pox), trachoma, polio, and other afflictions; charts of total numbers of patient deaths, causes of death, lengths of time treated at the hospital before death; charts of various complications that arose with patients under treatment for certain diseases; charts of data on patients admitted with scarlet fever, diphtheria, and measles; and charts on amounts of antitoxins and serums administered.
Data on the patients treated includes age and sex, dates admitted and length of stay at the hospital, and the number of patients admitted for care and treatment from other localities and institutions.
Records from 1922 to 1924 are more complete than those from 1925 to 1926.
