SCOPE AND CONTENTS
Records dating from prior to Roseau County's 1894 establishment were created under the auspices of then Kittson County.

Birth records for 1893-1909 and 1943-1948 have been inspected and contain no protected data. They are open to use. Access to all other birth records less than 100 years old is restricted. Records containing information relating to adoptions and illegitimate births are restricted for 100 years. Birth records less than 100 years old must be inspected by library staff to prevent inappropriate disclosure of confidential information. Please consult library staff for more information.
