Issues and events covered in depth include the Center for Women's Policy Studies; a 1984 Egypt trade mission; the lieutenant governor's bicycle rides; Minnesota triathalon trials; National Center for Policy Alternatives; recycling; a Soviet American seminar on family sociology held in Moscow; Minnesota's trade office in Taiwan; Women's History Center Task Force; Women Executives in State Government, in which Johnson held office; National Conference of Lieutenant Governors, particularly its 1988 annual meeting at Breezy Point Resort; and a wide variety of children's issues.
