The subject files include files on individual administrative staff members, memos to park managers and regional supervisors, legislation, and records covering relationships with other natural resources department staff and divisions, including the Employees Committee and the Advisory Committee to the Commissioner on Conservation in Scientific and Natural Areas, and with other state and federal agencies. Included in the latter are the National Park Service, National Recreation [and Park] Association, Legislative Building Commission, Minnesota Historical Society, Governor's Office, University of Minnesota, Minnesota Council of State Parks, and the state department's of agriculture, administration, civil service, and highways.
