The Upper St. Croix Scenic Riverway is a component of the National Wild and Scenic Rivers System and is jointly administered by the states of Minnesota and Wisconsin and the National Park Service. These files document Minnesota's role in the project to acquire and develop the Upper St. Croix River within system guidelines, which allow both limited recreational development and preservation of the area's natural scenic qualities.
