108.D.8.3B-1Juvenile Court Record A, 1909-1916.
(Page headings: “Guardian’s Record – Dependent Child”) For each case of dependency, delinquency, or neglect, there is a petition with information on the case, a hearing order, a summons and hearing notice, an order appointing a guardian, and a certificate of expenses, not all of which are always filled in. These standard forms are often followed by transcripts of the judge’s order or other documents.
Juvenile Court Record B, 1916-1955 (bulk 1916-1947).
In three sections.
First section (pages 1-158): Similar to Record A, except that the standard forms (1916-1917) are interspersed with various free-form orders for 1950-1954.
Second section, 1918-1936 (pages 161-559): Petition, summons, findings and order, findings and order for county allowance, and warrant of commitment (seldom or never filled in). Most pertain to dependent children.
Third section, 1919, 1937-1947, 1955 (pages 561-659): Page headings: Juvenile Court Register. A narrative record of proceedings, findings, and order in each court case regarding a delinquent (primarily) or a neglected (occasionally) child.
