SCOPE AND CONTENTS
Journals, ledgers, and a stock book track the procurement of food, medical supplies, clothing and bedding, tools and hardware, household items, fuel, lights, and other goods and supplies and their distribution to inmates and staff. Information includes brief descriptions of the items involved; invoice, voucher, and requisition numbers; quantities; prices per unit; dollar amounts; and related data.
Time spans of the journals and ledgers do not overlap. The ledgers may actually be duplicates maintained by the state Board of Control, rather than original records of the institution.
