SCOPE AND CONTENTS
The records includes a docket book of criminal cases, Nos. 1-231, listing names of parties and attorneys, offense, record of actions and filings, and decisions of the court, with the records of actions for a few cases extending past 1875; criminal case files for the above cases; and a few administrative files (1871-1883). The latter include judge’s administrative orders, grand jury reports, an 1871 list of jurors, receipts, and a governor’s pardon. Cases of especial significance, Nos. 133-158, concern malfeasance and other wrongdoing charges against State Auditor Charles McIlrath in 1874.
