Abstract:Records concerning the Health Department's regulation of well drillers and pump installers. Include meeting minutes, reports, correspondence and memoranda. As part of the program some cities and counties (local delegation) had a delegation agreement with the department to issue permits and rules, collect fees, and provide well code enforcement. In 1995 the department placed a moratorium on any new well program delegations, and local delegation workgroups evaluated the local programs and recommended changes to the program.
